    Hello everyone,

I've been trawling and reading for hours on here while compiling my ws. I just want to check, check and triple check that I am right in thinking these "costs" are inappropriate.

Detailed on the claim form are:
    Amount claimed: £248.76
    Court fee: £35.00
    Legal Rep Costs: £50.00
    Total: £333.76

I feel completely overwhelmed with information at the moment so just want to check what they can and can't claim.

    Many thanks

The £35 and £50 are allowable ... it's the breakdown of the £248.76 that needs to be challenged.

    Ahh ok, thank you.
It states on the signage that there is a penalty of £100 - so I have to ask where the extra £148.76 came from.

Or indeed if the £100 penalty for an 18 minute stay is justified, presumably...

    Nope. That's not a thing.

If you didn't know that fundamental case law rule in parking claims, you should read the ParkingEye v Beavis judgment from the Supreme Court.
