If your email contained your defence, which it should have done, then receipt of your email means your defence has been received.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -
Good work Jerm9218, I am also compiling my defence against Highview so would be interested to know the outcomes at each stage. I did have a query though, you said you received the PCN in 2016, thats over 5 years ago; I was under the impression that after 5 years the PPC could no longer be claiming anything? I'm sure an expert will put me right if thats not the case.1

In Scotland that limit is five years.2 -
Yes it will be six years in August. I imagine they churn a load out just before the deadline in a last ditch attempt at getting people to panic pay.1

Hi everyone, a question - if the company were to decide to drop the case before going to court, when would I be likely to hear about this? Could it just be any time they fancy?0

Yep, usually after seeing your WS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello all,
I have now received my letter with court date, which is the beginning of November. So knuckling down to get the witness statement put together. I'll be honest, I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all but trying to research now, so any relevant/up to date pointers would be appreciated too.
Thanks all0 -

Check out discussions they've started - they all have good examples of witness statements that you can use as the basis for yours in terms of content and style. (Obviously you don't just copy/paste - your WS must present the facts relevant for your case).Jenni x1
