Hi everyone. Has anyone recently applied for a Santander mortgage? I am a FTB and my broker has advised me to go with them.
How long did the process take? What credit checks did they do?

I have stable government job and 20% deposit.

Recently got our mortgage offer from Santander. Application was made 11th Feb, we got the offer on 15th Feb, really quick!1

Full application completed 21st Feb...mortgage approved 1st March.
I can only see a hard search on my Transunion report.

I do find this internet thing really useful but wonder if there is some it could be made easier for people:
Perhaps some kind of search machine! You might then be able to ask questions such as "how long to get a santander mortgage approved"
If it was really good it might provide answers that take you to discussions about the topic.......
