    Seems odd that a glitch affecting 350,000 people hasn't been mentioned on here (to the best of my recollection) by anyone impacted, although if the majority of the effect is on those with uncompetitive savings accounts, maybe they're less likely to be MSE forum members!

    There was one post the other days from someone who had received an extra PB win

    I don't believe that's related to this issue - the poster there had reconciled winnings received in previous draws, and it turned out that they were receiving one of the delayed prizes originally 'won' by ineligible bonds, a process which routinely happens every month.

    In today's story, the implication is that the distribution of missing PB winnings resulting from a newly-discovered glitch hasn't been done yet:
    It will notify affected prize winners in writing and missing prizes will be paid via their chosen prize payment method.

    NS&I couldn't tell us exactly when the prizes would be paid, but said that it would be contacting affected customers soon.
