bargainbetty - that is the best news that your freezer has recovered. I hear you on the floor awash with water - where does it all come from???? 🤣
Just thought i would nick in and show a pic of tea. I didn't have any intention of adding any of the yoghurt/cream in the version I made, as we had greek yoghurt with the last of the YS'd grapes for pudding. But i had intended to add coriander to the dish at the end of re-heating (made it in the pressure cooker this morning), and promptly...... Forgot 🙄 Still, it was nice enough. Bulghar wheat and green beans to accompany.

Shop done and I'm officially banned from yellow sticker shopping until we clear some room in the freezer
£9.03 on 4 litres of fizzy drink, frozen cookie dough (YS), mushrooms (YS), 4 pasta ready meals (YS), a bean chilli ready meal (YS), a vegan "duck" pancake kit (YS) and a pizza (YS).
Onto the next shop where we spent £15.47 on bubble bath, 2 kitchen rolls, shampoo, a pack of tortilla wraps, a cucumber, cherries (YS), washing detergent, double cream, a tin of spaghetti, paracetamol, 1 litre of juice, 1kg frozen mixed berries and 2 litres of fizzy drink.
Definitely spent more than we needed but as always, it'll all get eaten. The ready meals have all been frozen as OH likes them for last minute lunches for work.
Meal plan:
1. Korean beef with rice noodles (YS) and broccoli
2. Vegan wellington (YS) with roast potatoes (YS), roast parsnips (YS), Yorkshire puddings, broccoli and gravy
3. Jacket potatoes (YS) with beans/spaghetti and cheese
4. Sausage casserole with mash (YS), carrots (YS) and broccoli
We're away from Friday-Sunday so no meal planning for then.

From the top: Hot cross buns, daffodils (not strictly groceries but bought as part of grocery shop, so I'm counting them) milk, two pastries (desk breakfast Wednesday and another today) crisps and juice to go with Wednesday's sandwich at lunch (I did better today, I brought in a little paper bag with squares of dark chocolate, brazil nuts and raisins).
Veg box including 2 venison steaks, balsamic glaze, blue cheese and milk (also broccoli, parsnips, potatoes, carrots, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, apples and blood oranges).
Large bar of dark chocolate to break bits off for packed lunches, multipack of tinned tuna, green pesto and tinned tomatoes (buying these on the one et one in basis) tomatoes, mayonnaise, cucumber, bread.
I have £102.30 left and my meal plan until Thursday is egg, potatoes, broccoli and carrots tomorrow with lashings of balsamic as otherwise it's a tad bland, and pasta with tinned tomatoes. mushrooms and the last of the cheaper-than-parmesan cheese on Wednesday.
I'm going up to my brothers for St Patrick's Day and the weekend so any alcohol or food eaten out will come from the holiday budget this week.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

£18.18 spent in Mr S.
£111.30/£170.50.
£59.20 left.
Need to do a small L!do shop for a few items later this week. Frozen peas and sweetcorn are a must as much cheaper there.
We will also be doing a shop at P@H for the chins hay; probably close to £20 as we buy in bulk and store it above the cage.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy5
