Contents Insurance - virtual newbie needs recommendations & guidance main concern tenants liability

It's been a long time since I've had contents insurance for a number of reasons but I am looking now.
Read the mse guide, looked at comparison sites etc just to get an idea of prices and what's included.
What the guide barely touches on and the comparison sites mention only in buried/hidden areas is tenants liability. Back when I had contents insurance before I'm sure this was fairly standard and oft mentioned yet now it seems to have, fallen out of favour?
I would really appreciate guidance on this in particular and recommendations (or indeed who to avoid!) of which insurers to consider and what to look out for in terms of what's included in policies, what pitfalls etc
I am of course looking for good value but willing to pay more than cheapest if that means using a company with good customer service that processes claims pretty quibble free.
for instance I'm not sure whether legal and emergency cover is worth getting?
lots to consider its quite bewildering.

Urban Jungle (myurbanjungle.com) might be worth you having look at. Took out a policy for my stepdaughter that rents a flat to get some contents cover but to also ensure she was covered for tenants liability. Premiums seem very good and you can enhance the policy with various options, increase the level of cover etc. Not had to make any claims so can't comment on that aspect though.

No it remains fairly standard but it also remains fairly limited in its cover... some are expanded by adding AD cover to your own cover.
Legal - generally is a fairly cheap way to get 24/7 legal advice but not all the paralegals are even
Home Emergency - not normally your issue if you are interested in tenants liability as the Landlord would deal0
