We have had great holidays booked through cottages.com - ( you can also use Tesco club card points to get £99 off a booking ) so money saving too - you can read the reviews of previous guests at the property on their website.0

Air bnb as a starting point. I've read too many bad reports about cottages.com (part of Hoseasons) to use them.
If you have a healthy budget Rural Retreats are always excellent.

Hoseasons own a fair number of the online brand names. Bought the business and retained the website. Nothing more.daveyjp said:I've read too many bad reports about cottages.com (part of Hoseasons) to use them.

It's getting very difficult to find independent cottage companies. Sykes have bought up lots in recent years0
