Agreed - there's a lot of small unique named places in the area (such mychett etc, and frimley green comes under camberley even though its quite separate, the M3 is in the way!) so easy to not realise, so just saying that here, I think OP has a case for their money back)

It looks like Cheldon Cross Farm (Chulmleigh) has been mixed up with Cross Farm Infant School (Frimley).

But the question is... from who? There are 3 agencies in the supply plus the property owner

Well, possibly but there are plenty of properties with misleading names. Near us there are Riverview (there's a hill in the way), Appletree Cottage (sans apple trees) and Rivendell (not an elf in sight)!

Wont ask how you came across it but does seem to have the same issue if its not the same property but the copy does state its in Devon despite the map showing Surrey
Just went on hotel.com website and put in Frimley Green. It was on the first page that came up.

When you booked who was the receipt from?  Also cottages com have that property in the right place on their map which implies the error might be towards booking com's side.

But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Would you go to Yorkshire to see Leeds Castle? ;)
I bet a lot of people would. Just as many people would expect to find Blackpool Sands in Lancashire!
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

If you didn't pay by credit card, then did you pay by debit card?  The banks have a chargeback scheme.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
