    Offer/invitation to treat

An offer is a willingness to contract on certain terms made with the intention that it becomes binding upon acceptance. An invitation to treat is an opportunity to negotiate an offer. People generally barter to get the best deals (when buying cars).

I had the same problem yesterday...I reserved a box and they had none in store. I've just called them up and moaned and they said i could pick one box up at 5 but it should be sold with the Xbox 360.

Another problem...I keep ordering stuff off the internet but they keep cancelling due to stock but then they have some in stock 2 days after...Totally unfair, they should keep your order open.

it is up to £119 but it still shouldn't be sold without an xbox360. I think they've made a bil of a balls up with this.

  • Yes they definitely have made a balls up ... I got 3 the other day ... it's funny but when we first got that pack in at my shop (not Currys) they were priced at about £30 which I knew that was wrong because they are usually priced up at the full RRP and then that's knocked off using a refund code when a bundle is bought ... a couple of days later the price of the pack only went up to about £120 ... so I reckon they've got a load of these in, bunged them 'in stock' on their system, and the price is or rather was the same as our original price - and flogged a load of them as 'stock items'

    Bored / lost yet ?!
