Continuation of previous thread cancellation of credit on PAYG (sorry but it wont let me add thus)
Options
The call centre say that when I put the 10 pounds on at the beginning of December, the text sent activated the credit and after 30 days it expired. This means after that time you need more credit. They say the terms of their bundles explains this. But it doesnt seem to say that to me. These terms say to keep a credit you need to use a chargeable service up to 180 days or the credit is lost. But they took my credit after 30 so I couldn't use a chargeable service after 30m days without putting more money on.
So they have allocated this SIM number to a PAYG1 plan, which they say does what I want, however I have still lost the 10 pound credit so I would have to put money onto it to start again.
I'm not really convinced by this, plus they accept the confusion and when I asked for part of the 10 to be restored, they didnt say no but didnt restore it either.

Did you opt in at some point to a Bundle rather than basic PAYG?
Going by their FAQs even their basic PAYG is going to cost you £1/day that you use something - if you are only making the occasional short call this may well not be the best PAYG deal for you (unless they are the only network with a decent signal where you are - even then an mvno using the Vodafone network may work out better for you).2 -
I think I realise now I didnt understand their packages, but i explained in the vodaphone store i wanted to put a tenner on and might only use it a handful of times a year.
I think the PAYG1 package the call centre have allocated to it seems most what I want but I'm quite peed off they couldn't have put part of that tenner onto it.
I think I'll pop into Asda for a chat before I do anything else0 -
There are a couple of threads on here about which are the best sims for only very rare use.
