Notice the book offer says -
3 for £15
And the DVD offer says -
3 for £15!
That exclamation mark seems to make all the difference0 -
Having been intrigued by this thread for the past couple of days I did a little bit of investigating myself, and while I agree that it is reasonably clear that it's 3 DVDs for £15, 3 books for £15 etc (although I had to hunt a bit to find it all) I did stumble across something which people should be wary of:
If you order three items (from the same section) which individually cost less than £5, you will still be charged £15!!   I randomly picked three gadgets each costing £3.99, so total should have been £11.97, but my basket showed £15 total. Luckily I didn't want any of them, so deleted them all quickly

The OP is a retard thats all I have to say
The offer is 3 books for £15 or 3 dvd's for £15
You bought 2 Dvd's and 1 book
You dont qualify
I dont blame the manager for being rude, your clearly a waste of oxygen0 -
Did you not notice that the basket total was more than £15?
If I had got to the checkout and the basket total was not £15, I would have checked out the offer T&C's to make sure I had picked the right things. Here I go again on my own....0 -
The OP is right...noticed this the other day..but luckily I was only after dvds...I did honestly think it was mix and match because I never came across the page either that tells you its not!!!
defo report the so called manager!!!!!Cheeky git that he is!!!You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
I have just found another injustice. After night out in town last night I thought I would make use of public transport, namely a bus. I asked for a single to my destination and a cup of Bovril (which would of topped my night off and get me feeling a bit warmer). Imagine my horror when he told me that he didnt sell Bovril, not that he had run out, but didnt sell Bovril:eek:. I pointed out that he had a big sign with Bovril on both sides of the bus and I wanted my Bovril, to which he called me crank and threatened to call the police. So I had to get a taxi home.
Rest assured this will be my second episode of FWHORN investigates. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
It is one of those situations were one would love to hear Mikes side of the story .. he isprobably telling his mates about the rudest customer he has ever had to deal with
I must admit though that the offer could have been made more transparent on the site however anybody with half-a-brain cell would check how much their credit card is being charged before clicking on the 'Submit' button.
Just because you are computer literate and can shop on the web does not absolve you from your own responsibility to check items and not behave like a pratt.
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
