Did you get an auto response telling you that your defence had been received? If not, you need to check again tomorrow and follow it up with a 'phone call if it still hasn't been acknowledged.

Then, you need to keep on with your complaints, and re-visit the check list in the guide to court that tells you what to do and when.
Yes - I got an auto response to say my e mail had been received.

Who do I make complaints to? I haven’t made any so far. So I do this in writing? What good will this do out of interest?

I read the small claims court process and it says that the court will issue me a questionnaire? And then something about a whiteness statement? Surely the court will direct me on the next steps I need to take when they respond to me?

Consider complaining to the ATA, the DVLA, and Trading Standards .  Everything in writing in parking matters, judges love paper trails.

The CCBC will send your defence to the claimant, who will then have 28 days to confirm to the CCBC that they will continue and after that the CCBC will issue the N180 - DQ.

Complain to the people I asked you about in my post three days ago, in writing. A landowner cancellation is what you are hoping for, and it is never too late to ask. Your MP needs to be made aware of what these parking companies get up to so he can better understand the new mandatory parking code due to be implemented next year that she/he is currently being asked to read by the department for levelling up.

@Le_Kirk, this is a Defence being filed after a set aside. Not sure that the CCBC are involved.   ;)

I sent my defence to the CCBC and my local court as I wasn’t sure where to send it. I had an automated response from both so at least I’ve covered all bases.

The judge or ‘recorder’ who did my set aside hearing really wasn’t very clear in his instruction of what I needed to do. He just said I needed to submit my defence to the court! When I asked for the address of the court he said i could find it on the paperwork or online!

You also need to submit a 2nd WS and evidence, as this is post set aside.  See other CCJ threads.  The Judge may not ask for it but submit it anyway.
