I always find that NS&I messages are always a few days after the actual result or payout so yes I would just wait a few days and see if something comes through. If not well lucky you

It was a good month this month. Sometimes we win nothing... but at 2 x £50k, having a month with 7 x £25 isn't entirely unheard of. As 'cheshierlabrador' says, they tend to balance out to an average rate, closer to that described by the MSE PB calculator (with some good months, and some not so good).Must be a lucky family
I called NS&I and have got to the bottom of it. They said the same as annabanana82.
When someone dies, their account gets placed into a state whereby their bonds are still included in the draw, but, they are ineligible to win. (Seems a bit daft to me, but its the way the system works). In this instance (or any other instances where a winning account is ineligible to receive the funds, though the 'death' scenario was the one he mentioned), the prizes are re-drawn, and a 2nd 'late' payout is made later in the month. Unfortunately, their systems do not send out any notifications when this happens, as its outside of the 'normal' process which does the notifications.
I'll receive no email, letter, or SMS - and my prize history on the website will not reflect this additional win. (That is what the guy said, but I'll check back in a few weeks - because that seemed a bit odd/wrong, and not very customer friendly).
I suppose this also potentially improves the payout rate that Martin calculates for his MSE PB calculator.
There are no doubt a fair few bonds that contribute toward the prize pool value, but are ineligible for winnings. I have no idea what % that is; probably small, which explains why this is the first time I have come across something like this... but probably not an insignificant number.
Thanks all.
