As expected and suggested by the experts on this forum, I've been contacted by dcb via email to suggest I settle the case for £100.2

I've received a letter, notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing)
Does this mean that eurocarparks have to act/pay trial fee before 19/03/25? Not sure what I'm to do. Does it look like its going ahead with a court date and not discontinuation?
Thanks.

Unknown at this stage, but you will definitely find out by the middle or end of March
All proceeding as normal at this time, until they have to decide, pay or dont pay2 -
Also, I'm certain I put all the dates/periods I wouldn't be available and it seems bizarrely that one of those dates/periods has been picked for the hearing.

Look again at that Notice of Allocation. The Notice that gives the hearing date.
Probably on the second page, is there not a paragraph something like:Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].Might be on the back. Those 'documents on which you intend to rely' are your Witness Statement and evidence.2 -
If you are certain that you put your dates for unavailability on the DQ and it gives you trouble (i.e. you are out of the country, in hospital, some other urgent appointment) send a copy of the DQ to the court and ask them to correct their mistake.gaskella said:Also, I'm certain I put all the dates/periods I wouldn't be available and it seems bizarrely that one of those dates/periods has been picked for the hearing.2 -

Hi all.
I've received some good news. An email explaining instructions from the client to discontinued court proceedings against me.
Thank you to everyone for all their help, guidance and reassurance. Glad this all looks to be over with.
Thanks,
Gaskella.5
