Help! Been wrongly accused of scratching someone's car

  • At the end of the day, the fact that there is a scratch on one car and a bashed up door in another car is completely circumstantial and is not evidence that one caused the other. Unless they have a witness who saw you scratch their car, or they have analysed their scratch and found flakes of your paint in the scratch, they have nothing.
