Energy company not completing case resolution on time

Hi all, I am seeking advice on what to do next. I have complained to my energy provider. This then escalated to the Energy Ombudsman who have decided in my favour. The energy company has not completed all actions despite the 28-day allowed to do so. So the case was escalated further to the Remedy team of the energy ombudsman. Still no movement from the energy company. It looks like they are allowed to ignore the ombudsman's decision and/or take as long as they want to complete the resolution. The complaint was raised 5 months or so ago.
Has anyone been in that situation? What's next? How long is this going to take to resolve if at all?

No doubt there's a backlog. You'll be stuck in the queue until your case arrives at the top of the pile. Shouting the loudest doesn't get you anywhere any quicker.

Who knows? We don't even know who your energy provider is (or was). We do know that we are all in uncharted waters with energy providers. Does your provider still exist? Have they had to take on thousands of new customers?

If you post on the Energy board https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/energy and are willing to name your provider you might find others in your situation who can tell you what's next and how long it will take.
