Hi,
I've just looked at my Transunion credit report, and found that a CCJ shows from the 10th February from Link Financial.
I've had no paperwork about it, at all. It's a disputed credit card, for just over £1,500. It was sold from a sub-prime lender to Link while I was disputing it with the card company, and Link never responded to any of my requests for paperwork.
I've had no court documents or anything - I moved house last year, but have had nothing redirected, and collected any post that had slipped through the cracks yesterday - there was nothing from the court there, either.
I don't know much about the card - according to Transunion, the account start date was 2011, but it defaulted in April 2016. There are no payments showing. I believe it was probably taken out by a family member of mine, and provided crime reference numbers and police info to the original card provider at the time, but they ignored them.
Any advice? I'm feeling really stressed... I've got a newborn and the baby brain is real! Thank you.

You contact the court tomorrow, you also contact the debt collector.
There are forms to fill in.
Also raise an official complaint with the card company and the debt collector.0 -
Link are debt purchasers, so will have bought your debt, and in order to secure something from the deal, have taken you to court, and obtained judgement by default, notably just months before the debt would have become statute barred.
The court papers will probably have gone to an old address, or whosever address they had on file.
The court will most likely be Northampton bulk centre, check your credit report to be sure, its best to email them, as they don`t often answer the phone, now a judgement has been entered, all bets are off, you can complain about your treatment, but not about the debt, from what you have said, you may have grounds for a set aside.
