A Pickle with Virgin Media..! How to negotiate..?

I'm with Virgin Media because I have to be. I live on a new-build estate, and the developer struck a deal with Virgin; as such, they're the only provider of phone/tv/broadband services.
I'm being hit with the latest Virgin Media price increase. My contract is coming to an end in early April in any respect.
How can I negotiate a price reduction if I cannot offer any comparisons?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Call the VM line, while waiting it will let you accept an offer.
Then in March call them back to say that April end of contract you want to do a deal.0 -
That's another issue in itself - trying to get through on the VM line..! On hold/wait now "unprecedented call numbers' etc etcvisidigi said:Call the VM line, while waiting it will let you accept an offer.

If you choose the 'thinking of leaving option' you should get the automatic cost reduction offer on the automated system without speaking to anyone.SteveW81 said:

Surely you don't have to get TV from Virgin? Do you need a landline?
I'd focus on broadband only unless the cost of bundling the aforementioned is minimal and required.
Is mobile broadband 4g / 5g viable in your area, or can you use it as leverage? My farts hospitalize small children

It worked as mentioned - thank you. Discount offered for the next six months without any implication on contract. I'll speak to them in March to negotiate a better deal.visidigi said:

I have been considering that lately. We never (once in a blue moon maybe) watch regular TV; it's always on demand with Netflix etc. Have a landline as part of the existing package, but no phone attached. I'll look at broadband only change.dreamypuma said:Surely you don't have to get TV from Virgin? Do you need a landline?

4G is certainly available. I'll look into this as an option as well. Thanks for the suggestion.Starting my road to recovery and a better life!

You'd be better going to:
