I am going to attempt to do some jobs over the Easter weekend too...if I get time!
I need to clean the stair carpet and the rug in the living room, tidy back, front and side gardens, clean driveway and garage door, clean the patio and clean both cars inside and out – I feel exhausted just typing it all!
It will be a nice productive weekend with lots of nice socialising, food and seeing friends and family with the added bonus of not spending too much money.
The forecast is looking good for the weekend here in Cambs. I hope you all have a good weekend!

It was a lovely weekend spent enjoying quality time with friends and family. I got some of my jobs done too.
It’s a quiet week this week with nothing planned for the weekend either, unless the forecast is good enough to do a car boot – I shall wait and see.
The heating went off this weekend. It was only coming on in the mornings for 45 mins but I think it will still be a considerable saving.
Other than petrol and food, I’m doing a NS week as it’s payday on Monday.
Hope you all have a nice short week.

Sounds like you have been super productive, and had a great weekend! I am so pleased the weather has been lovely, though chilly morning and night it means it is just bearable to not have the heating on! We have a heated airer with cover, haven't used a tumble drier since we were left one in our first home! May not work for you, but might be worth a thought1

Thanks for dropping in @Aimingforthegoodlife. Yes, very productive much like yourself. The weather can make such a big difference and lift my mood.
I have considered a heated airer. I purchased one for my mum a few years ago and she never used it so I may have to have a word with her..😂Mortgage balance as of 21.7.21 - £75,766. I managed to get some YS fishcakes, turkey mince and chicken mince for the freezer the other day. It's not often I am in the shop at the right time so was really pleased with my haul. All I need to do now is find a couple of recipes to jazz up the mince as turkey and chicken mince can be a bit bland and needs lots of seasoning.
Only have £40 left for food for the rest of this month to feed two of us two meals per day - the YS haul will really help out as there is approx. 8 meals right there. Then, I have some bits in the fridge and freezer I can use. Just need to top up with fruit, veg, milk and a few other bits.Mortgage balance as of 21.7.21 - £75,766. My wages have hit my account early so I have made an op to the mortgage account of £350 taking the balance down to £63,870.37. frustrated with myself for overspending in April as I now I can't op as much as I hoped - when will I learn?!
It will take me another couple of months now to clear the cc and N3xt account.
Dh has also been paid but for some reason not all of his expected commission has been paid so he will need to go into the office next week to sort that out.Mortgage balance as of 21.7.21 - £75,766.
