I need to do that too...I had PBs in the 60s bought for me as a baby and birthdays but goodness knows what happened to them .
Sounds like a lovely week ahead for you !
Yes, dh was the same. Purchased for him when he was born in 1965/66. They lived in Germany in the forces so we are not sure to which address they registered to. Also, dh has a VERY common first name and surname and they called him by his middle name which confuses things even more. We gave as much information as possible and have done all we can so will just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed!

Lovely and sunny here in Cambs today. Took my lunch out to sit buy the river during my break at work so another nsd for me.
Forecast good for the next few days so will hang some washing out tomorrow and over the weekend to save using the tumble dryer.
Our energy supplier have written to us to say dd payment are increasing from £95 to 132 a month. I don't think that's too bad. I'm switching the heating off soon, before the 1st April, so hope by the winter, we will be in credit with in our energy account ready for the winter months. We do have a log burner we use during the winter, but wood has also shot up in price so it's not cheap to use unless you forage/dry your own wood.
Just over a week to go till payday and i still have money in my account. Budgeting and having individual pots for various bits and bobs definitely helps me stay on track as well as writing my budget down and working out all the little bits i need to put money away for. Some days, i leave my purse at home then i'm not tempted to spend - it works for me!
Enjoy the sunshine!

The sun is shining and I have three loads on the line and another in the washing machine.
I have tiedied the front and back gardens. Dh is cleaning both the cars and I'm now thinking about lunch. Have some bits in the fridge which need eating.
Meal out last night was nice with my cousin and his wife and only cost us a tenner in tips!
Going to have lunch and then got a few more errands to run this afternoon. Will also take the dog for a nice walk and then may take myself out for a power walk. I love being outside when the sun is shining. 🌞

I popped to the shops and ended up buying lots of clothes after saying i wasn't going to buy any for a while! Luckily, none of them "wow" me, so they are all going back.
Found a stash of tinned soup at the back of the cupboard so that's my lunches at work sorted for this week.
Have friends coming over for dinner on Saturday evening. Luckily, we have plenty of booze in so no need to purchase any and dh has a £20 Te$co voucher so i will get any extra bits i need with that as to not go into my household food budget.
It's Mother's Day on Sunday. I have made my Mum a toiletries hamper with all her favourite bits so will pop and see her on Sunday.
Forecast is just glorious in Cambs this week and to top it all off, it's payday on Friday and i have taken a day holiday from work.
Enjoy the rest of the week!

Yay, it's payday today. I have moved money to different pots and op £300 on the mortgage - less than I wanted but that will teach me to stop rewarding myself with purchases on the cc.
Mortgage balance now stands at £65,292.79. the regular payment will go out on the first so will update again then.
Sunny here in Cambs and I am off work. I will put a wash on and hang on the line to save using the dryer. Will go for a walk and have some errands to run. Going to attempt a home hair colour...!
Dh managed to reduce the house insurance by around £60 a year. I need to try to get my car insurance down when the renewal quote comes in in April.
We are out this evening to a new Turkish restaurant. I've heard it's expensive but we haven't been out much so we are just going to enjoy it.
Happy Friday 🌞

Thank you @try_harder. It's not often we go out to eat so going to try to enjoy it...till the bill arrives! 😂

The Turkish meal out with friends was very nice. The service was good too and so was the atmosphere but the food didn't 'wow' me. Eating out is very expensive these days and more often than not, I end up thinking about the cost of one meal being more expensive than a weekly shop at the supermarket! It was really good to be back with old friends though and whom we haven't seen in three years!
Summer has left Cambs today so I will clean the house and chill for the rest of the day. I have already been to the garden center and been to see my mum.
Decluttered the wardrobe in the spare room as I would like to do a car boot in April if we have a dry, warm Sunday. I need to make a little more cash to finish paying off my cc so I may visit the 'boost your income' forum to see ideas I can come up with. Would love to do o/t at work but unfortunately, that is not an option. Feel free to leave a comment with any great ideas on how I can boost my income. Thanks!
