Reading the guide it says the barclaycards rewards card is now one of the best cards to have to travel. with that in mind i got one ,
here is what the forum guide says
The top pick as it charges no fees or interest on spending AND overseas cash withdrawals repaid in full. Plus there are a couple of perks – you get 0.25% cashback on almost all spending & it also gives five months free access to to Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+ and/or Apple TV+. Just diarise to cancel after the five months is up if you don't want to pay the subscription fee.
here is what the t and c state on my account details
If you buy something with your card while you're abroad, you'll pay one single, non-sterling purchase fee of 2.99%, every time you use it. If you withdraw foreign currency using your card, you will just be charged a transaction fee of 2.99% (minimum fee of £2.99). You can find a current comparison of our exchange rate for certain currencies as a mark-up against the rate published by the European Central
just to add I already have a clarity and a starling account but wanted another back up

Could it be that they are generic T&Cs for Barclaycard credit cards and they don't apply to that particular card? Barclaycard website still advertises no foreign fees for the rewards card.
- No fees abroad – you’ll be able to withdraw cash from an ATM or buy your souvenirs without any charges and benefit from Visa’s competitive exchange rate
I'm sure Halifax once sent me a "new T&Cs" notification that included a similar statement about foreign transaction fees. But the Clarity I have remained fee free.

We have the Barclaycard Rewards CC - they do not impose any foreign fees, either at ATMs or for goods/services transactions - of course the ATM bank may impose their own useage fee, you need to check that before actioning the withdrawal. That is outwith Barclay's (or any other bank's) control........and you need to settle up in full to avoid interest when the next monthly statement is due to be paid .Barclay's general credit card Ts & Cs can be confusing here.1

But the Clarity I have remained fee free.I also recall this ‘standard’ set of t+c’s coming through from Halifax and having the scan for a section in the accompanying letter which covered the no overseas charges condition. It really was only that I also have a Halifax Platinum card and letters and new t+c booklets came in separate envelopes in the post the same day that I could make a card to card comparison.1
