I wonder, is this the way things will progress with mobile?

Hi
Maybe this is the way things will progress with mobile.
Unlimited everything but a choice of speed cap.
2Mb/s for casual browsing.
150Mb/s for streaming HD video.

And 10Mb/s for in between.

What would you need for eg a whatsapp video chat on your Android mobile?

    No idea.
I have an ANDROID phone but I don't use WhatsApp.
    Maybe they have a FAQ.

You need an internet connection via Wi Fi or mobile network (data).

I kinda think they were asking what speed over network ;-)

For a reply... The system will scale to whatever is available. (But always go in the middle one!)

Those are pretty expensive though at the non reduced prices. How about 0 mins 0 texts and unlimited data? Nah ;-) never gonna go for that are they! (It's all been data since 2G anyway (though differentiated on the network in the 2g era (as opposed to your phone telling the network what it is doing)).

Well, at least they've realised people don't care about minutes or texts... just data really.

I saw the "unlimited mins and texts" thing coming years ago and lo and behold, most Sim only are exactly that.

I can see some doing this but many will probably just give away huge amounts of data on their plans now.

Ah yes my bad wasn't paying attention...
I think 2mb would be fine but personally I too would go for the middle 10mb.
