Samsung & their trade in policy (Galaxy S22)

So i'm interested in getting a new android this year and was waiting on the release of the Galaxy S22.
Going to the Samsung website I can trade my current phone in and get the new one for £509 which i'd be happy with.
Question is how are they with honouring their price? Are they as they say or are they a bit like we buy any car where they may claim to give me £200 but after they get it in their hands, they'll charge £199 to remove a spec of dust they found on it?
Hoping someone reading this has experienced the Samsung trade in service & can comment.

I’ve traded in my device every time with the Samsung offers. They give you what they say they will - as long as you tell the truth when answering their questions. If they find you’ve lied, they could potentially send you your phone back and still make you take the 22 at full price.Be honest and they’ll honour the price. It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....0

That'll do me nicely then, thanks.
My phone has been in a Mous case since day 1 with screen protector on and never dropped. Only recently taken the protector off as it was annoying me with the fingerprint sensor but the glass isn't scratched. Always look after my phones so if I choose to sell then they'll be worth as much as the model possibly can be at the time.1 -
I've only traded in a smart watch so far and they honoured the offered price. I am trading in my S20+ for a new S22+ and hopefully they will honour the price as it's in very good condition.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0

I'm a little unsure about the move tbh.Lower capacity battery than the S21.Poorer(?) telephoto than even my S10 (and I use this lens a bit)?Inferior resolution again to even my S10.Sure it'll be better in other ways but my phone is a few years old now. I can see areas where it'd 'step back' to the S21 but it should be superior to my phone in every single way.0

You have 21 days to send in the trade in device, if you dont they block the new phone until you do so or pay the difference back.
