Travel insurance covering accommodation and new flights if need to isolate and extend stay?

Hello
Does anyone know please whether any travel insurance policies cover accommodation costs and new flights if you test positive for covid on holiday and have to extend your stay in order to isolate and then come home later? We are two vaccinated adults and two unvaccinated children hoping to travel to Turkey this month but concerned that if we test positive on holiday we would have to pay for more nights in a hotel and new flights.
The guide doesn’t seem to cover this and I’ve looked at a few policies but can’t see any that cover this. Some mention a £30 allowance per day but this doesn’t seem sufficient to cover costs. I just wondered if anyone had seen this in any policies please?

Not sure which guide you're looking at but https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/cheap-travel-insurance/ certainly covers it:

You test positive for Covid-19 overseas and need to extend trip and/or get medical help.

Most DO, unless travelling against Government advice.

You might also read the Which? article at https://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/travel-insurance/best-and-worst-travel-insurance-akxsn9g15kgb, which highlights the small number of providers they consider offer the most comprehensive cover.

Which ones have you examined and eliminated so far?

I looked a four, I think I ruled out Puffin and Sainsburys and one other before thinking that the post office covered it but I emailed to check and they confirmed they do not. 

They said “For TC policies in the event you test positive for COVID while abroad, then you can claim unused travel and accommodation costs and for any medical expenses you incur while abroad. A copy of the positive test result will be required when submitting the claim. Please note we will not cover the actual cost to return you back home, only unused travel and accommodation expenses.There is no cover for any additional accommodation costs for quarantining or for rescheduled flights etc.”

So I lost confidence in my understanding of the terms and conditions. I’ll have a look at the links. Thank you 🙏

Hi again. Just in case anyone else is looking, after looking at the Which article, it looks like Churchill and M&S cover this. I just need to double check some bits related to our other needs, but it looks like one of these will be ok. Thank you eskbanker for pointing me in the right direction. 😀

You may also want to check the small print to see if these cover “room only “ accommodation costs  or would also cover the additional cost of meals ( which would need to be delivered to room if you are in isolation )
