Are NCP going bust?

My daughter works in a city centre. The firm has a contract that provides car parking space for her. Everything was fine until she changed her car. Now ever time she parks she is charged up to £27 a day. Her boss has tried to sort it out but is now too busy and has passed it to her. She emails/phones every few days and is being told it takes a few weeks to process as it is with another team. This has been going on for months. She has probably paid around £300 as she is scared of a black mark on her record. They have told her her car reg is on the list as entitled to a "free" space. I can’t understand why when then are admitting the problem it is taking so long both to sort out and give a refund. I read about them potentially going bust last year and now I am wondering if they are just repeatedly stalling her. She is unsure how to proceed. Can she do a small claims or does it have to be the person with the contract?

What 'black mark' concerns her?
Is £27 the daily parking charge that your daughter should be having free of charge? For what reason does she have an entitlement to free parking? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My lad gets discounted parking with NCP in our city centre here due to his building being nearby with plenty of employees and the type of job he took last summer ( I won't say what or who with , but suffice to say that it's nothing to do with parking companies )
So I can understand part of the problem , but not why NCP won't sort out the new vehicle onto the whitelist successfully5 -
What Record and what black marks ?3

I think she means she is scared of a CCJ if she doesn’t pay.Umkomaas said:What 'black mark' concerns her?

That’s the thing they keep saying her car is on the list. She still gets charged though and they are so slow to refund. They admit fault, say they are sorting it but nothing has changed for months.Redx said:My lad gets discounted parking with NCP in our city centre here due to his building being nearby with plenty of employees and the type of job he took last summer ( I won't say what or who with , but suffice to say that it's nothing to do with parking companies )

If it went to court and she lost in court , she has 30 days grace period to settle the amount , in full , to avoid it going on her credit file for 6 years
A lack of knowledge can be very bad for people
Her boss should make a strong complaint to the CEO of NCP , get the red tape sorted out asap3 -

I wonder if she can just ignore the charges and not pay.As I said they have admitted they are in the wrong.1 -
