My young Defendant with his high ethical and moral standards, came to visit a few hours ago and said he is prepared to battle on and fight the good fight....yay!

He never wanted to let them get away with it, he was just concerned about me twisting myself into knots with it all.

As we have no idea of the length of time between the CH being adjourned and the next date:
- presumably the court will ask about availability dates as they did on the DQ, first time round? and
- how much notice do they give; does it depend on which court it is?

Is it too early to send an updated costs assessment?

The claimant wont be allowed to send in new evidence will they? - to make up for their 58 page WS that consists of:

• a risible 2-page landowner authority agreement
• 4 pages of photos taken in car parks their landowner 'authority' has no rights over
• 13 pages of confused waffle signed by a paralegal who seems to hide away and never attends hearings 
• about 40 pages of marshmallow (e.g. needless copies of court forms and photocopies of Defendant's Defence Statement etc) that add nothing to the case.

None of it indexed either.

Anyway, now that we've put our armour back on, any advice, tips, reminders etc will be more than welcome!
Even just some encouragement to make sure I don't lose my mojo again...

This is why an email to VCS now is my advice, telling them to put up or shut up.  The idea is to avoid all this angst and waiting for a new hearing, by pushing the right buttons in a robust way, pointing out how a drop hands offer has value to VCS.

I used that phrase 'put up or shut up' to DCBLegal the other month and the case has gone very quiet (but it is pre-action).

It is really empowering and he and you did great.

'Our' forum Defendants have had an absolute field day in the county courts today! I've seen 5 wins reported already today plus a couple of discontinuances.
