Do you actually need a box? Most modern smart TVs (the last 5+ years) will have dual satellite inputs and will be capable of allowing you to watch Freesat, many will also have the option to record by plugging in a flashdrive or USB HDD if that is a function you feel you need.

Some TVs have satellite inputs and if they have a recording function it will be limited - can't watch and record different things type limitations.  Can't record more than one thing at once limitations.

Who still looks at/watches adverts? ;)

I've just had a quick skim through the TV's on the John Lewis website, now I admit it was a very quick skim, and not all of them, but the majority seemed to have satellite input and also be capable of some kind of recording, not sure of at what level, but dual input would indicate view and record different channels.
