Ubereats missing items

Hi all,
I am hoping someone can help me as I seem to have hit a brick wall. On Saturday I placed an order with ubereats for some grocery shopping and tobacco at ASDA. The shopping arrived and I took it straight into the kitchen. I opened the bag to find only 4 out of the 10 items there. I immediately went onto the app and tried to call the driver. There was no answer so I left a voicemail. As soon as the app let me I went through to the help section and told them I was missing items. I received a message back saying they can't do anything and the matter is resolved. They have charged me £51.84 for a loaf of bread, a bag of sugar a pack of linguine and a box of cereal! These items only total £5.10! I must have sent over 10 messages to them explaining over and over what has happened but they are point blank refusing to refund me. I have asked for it to be escalated, asked for an address to make a formal complaint but I am just getting the same message over and over that they wont help and it is resolved! They even said to take it up with ASDA. I called them and they said they have nothing to do with the ubereats shopping and it is there responsibility (which I already knew). I had even placed another order with them afterwards for the tobacco from a different shop. I have asked why they have not checked with the driver but they don't answer any of my questions. It is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Please, please can someone help. I can't afford to lose this money even if I could it would be the principle of it. They have failed to supply goods I have paid for and refuse to refund. How can they get away with this?

Do you live anywhere near YorkshirePete?2 -
Did you pay by card? If so, you could try a chargeback for items not received.0

It looks like that is the only forward. Every response they are sending me says the same thing. I have asked for an address to make a formal complaint and they are refusing to even give me that. Worst customer service I have ever received. They aren't listening to what I am saying or answering the questions I have raised. They obviously think it is OK to treat their customers this way, appalling!0
