A modern TV should be capable of upscaling anyway.
  • I'm literally in the same boat as you.
I bit the bullet today and cancelled EVERYTHING.
I have no idea at the moment what I'm going to do after the 31days are up. But I'm damn sure I'm not going to put up with 2 price increases within my 18 month contract.
I've been with sky for nearly 14 years.
Sorry to hyjack your post (I started a post of my own) but just wanted  to say your not alone.
The prices are ridiculous and unaffordable for me now to.

Unless you want the fastest download drop to an up to 38 Mb speed that will be less than £20 per month, £240 per year, Netflix £5.99 per month, one screen, Amazon Prime £79 per year or Disney plus £79 yearly, even the lot will be less than the £1044 you pay sky yearly.

If you mean upscaling SD to HD (say) then the old saying of "can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear" comes to mind, SD to UHD just makes me shudder.
