Any no standing charge gas suppliers around?
There used to be but I cant find any at the moment. I have a non working boiler (and it might be a bit of time to save up to replace it) and am paying £10.66 per month for the privilege. My dual fuel discount only gives me £1.56 back. I need to not pay what Im not using (ideally). Any ideas? Thanks.

Try looking for non dual-fuel deals - we pretty much have to go that route as we only cook using gas and it's always more expensive to go dual-fuel. Having said that, it's getting harder and harder to find anyone who's willing to take on a very low user household now.
As far as I am aware there are no readily available zero standing charge tariffs now. (But I'll be watching this thread with interest to see if anyone finds anything current rather than historic!)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The only one I know of that you may be able to get onto is British Gas Zero Fixed Oct 2022...... but... do search on here and check the threads about it, because in theory it is not available, but in practice a good number of people have managed to get it, but if you are not already with BG it may be too much of a risk...0

We certainly decided it was too risky for us MWT. Bad enough having seen the increase we already have over the past year or so - it'd be even worse if we ended up stuck on a horrific tariff as a result of trying to have BG over!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
