Morning everyone
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Still dark, looks cold start for the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and brekkie whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was roast beef, roasties, carrots, broc, peas, yorkshires and gravy - some beef and yorkshires LO - and will become another meal, most possibly tomorrow night.
We've been very productive this weekend so pleased with what we have got done. Still more to do though.
Back to work today for me, hoping it'll be not such chaos - but I'm only working today, tomorrow and Wednesday morning, I have Thursday afternoon off and I don't work Fridays so a short week.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Very cold this morning, I'll have to defrost the car before I go to work.
I had a very lazy afternoon yesterday including a little nap which resulted in a poor nights sleep so early to bed for me tonight!
Hope you are all well and have a happy Monday, take care. XX15 -
Morning folks. Thanks for starting us off nmlc.A very Happy Birthday to JackieO 🎉🎂🌺 I'm sure you'll be having a wonderful time with family!
My Sunday was very cold, that wind was cutting. I was only outside for five minutes talking to a neighbour but it was more than enough, I lit the wood burner immediately after that. By bedtime I was over-hot 😂 I emptied six of the seven drawers yesterday morning so now have a pile of unwanted tops for the CS with everything else bunged on the spare bed. The final drawer awaits! The orange furniture sliders are ready too.Today my cleaner is coming in the late morning so I want to do a quick trip into town beforehand. I need a posting box / bag and to get rid of the contents of the recycling bag. Once she's here I'll do my postponed Oban visit for food shopping and post off the parcel. My beloved DM had bought her graduation gown and hood back in 1966, she was so proud of her achievements that they have been hanging up in the wardrobe since then. I contacted the organisation which hires them out to offer the gown and hood to them as a donation. They were happy to take them and even sent a prepaid label. I'm so pleased that these treasures are going to a good home.I hope that the cold is not too difficult for everyone. Happy Monday to all.16 -
Morning all
Cold here with a slight frost. Off to work for me and a nice group of clients on a monday which makes for a good day.
The house guest arrived yesterday and had been as good as gold, she had two walks yesterday but did not sleep a lot as I think she was a bit nervous / excited, there have been a few tiddles in the house but they are mainly out fault where we have not read the signs properly, she slept all night without a peep and was very pleased to see me this morning.
OH will puppy wrangle today (lucky thing) while I am at work, and will take them out a couple of times during the day.
Roast dinner tonight its all cooked and will just need heating through when I get home.
Happy Birthday to the lovely Jackie O hope you have a fantastic day xxxx
Have good days all xx13 -
Morning folks and thanks for the start NMLC. Hope today is not too manic for you. And a Happy Birthday to JACKIE.
A very frosty start here but that's better than the rain, hail, sleet and blustery wind over the weekend. Nothing got done yesterday with DGD here most of the day so playing catch up today. My bed is to strip and bedding to wash first job. Plus the oven to clean thanks to an overflow of cheese on our tea time pizzas! Grr. But a no cooking day as there are leftovers from our chicken dinner to warm up tonight. Usual soup and sarnie at lunchtime. . I am still slowly wading through the frozen avocado halves (which I won't buy again!) so breakfast is one of the said avocado on toast with a poached egg.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones and convalescing. Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"15 -
Good morning, thanks for the start nmlc.
Happy Birthday JackieO – have a super day x
We took pup back to DS1 yesterday, then went to the sofa showroom. It’s one of those with only 8 showrooms in the country. Found a sofa we liked then spent about an hour looking at fabrics. Doesn’t help that DH is colour blind so can’t see blue/red etc. Must have been over 100 sample books. We chose a plain fabric from their basic range and the quote was emailed last night - £7k – nearly fell off the chair. Back to JL I think.
DH is in Solihull with work today. I waved to him as I finished my run this morning. Running app failed to start so ran 1.5k before I realised grrr. I have a delivery of a new floor steam mop coming this morning. Pup is back again this afternoon until Thursday night whilst DS1 and his GF work. He’s great company. Very odd having the house to myself but also nice iyswim?
Dinner tonight will be mac n cheese. DS2 is working an extra shift tomorrow, so his uniform is on a hot wash. Other than that, will see what delights await me at work today!
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Morning all Brr its a chilly one this morning dog walked and back in the warm waiting for the renderer to come and start today we have decided that we will be taking the summer off from renovations to take stock mentally and financially so just the hallway the built in wardrobes in the bedrooms and fingers crossed the roof lights and peace will reign in the Bella house for a few weeks .
Spent the weekend doing not much a friend popped round on Saturday and yesterday was raining cats and dogs as well as windy so a pj day i also upped our DD for dual fuel just to try and get ahead we have a credit but i dont think it will last long with the increase now and October so hopefully this will be less painful.
Sausages for dinner we have purchased an air fryer i am very dubious and told DS it would go back to Cost*o if it didn't get used and sat on the side i may try tonight and see what happens.
Jackie O have a lovely birthday I know your family will be spoiling you x

I hope you had a great time and a lovely birthday too. Whereabouts did you get to? My aim is remote QLD later this year - perhaps!Izzy - happy haircut.
