Storage heaters or dual fuel stove ?

I go to bed early as I’m up at 4 am for work .

yes ,the heaters stay warm until about 10 pm … and are just kicking in again when I get up

Thanks, @Rosie1001.  You won't gain much, if anything, by fitting HHR heaters then.
 Are you going to go ahead with getting a stove?

When my central heating broke down one Christmas, I had to use the wood burner to heat the house for a couple of weeks.  You end up with one really hot room, and the rest of the house is vaguely warm.

I still used an electric heater to take the chill off the bedroom.

I’m really not sure …still looking at all my options
