I usually keep my cards in a purse at the bottom of my bag, while my phone is usually in my hand/pocketHolding your phone up against the scanner takes no longer than holding a contactless card up against one, why would it take longer?

I keep a single card in the back of my phone case, perfect for forgetting my wallet and knowing I've still got a card with me.es260 said:emmajones1976 said:

Ah so you are one of those annoying people at the checkout who put all their stuff through the till and ONLY THEN starts looking for their card?es260 said:emmajones1976 said:

A (Viz) Top Tip for you - have the card ready by finding it whilst queuing or whilst the goods go through the till. Or even before getting in the queue. Thank me later.0 -
Nope, that's quite the opposite of what I said.emmajones1976 said:

Anyway, thanks all for your responses. I will contact my card company about why it sometimes doesn't work and probably won't be answering any more questions about my personal belongings

It is, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't... I'll contact my card company to see if it can be fixed.penners324 said:Your credit card isn't set up to use apple pay....
Is it Apple Pay? What version of iPhone?
It probably isn't something the credit card company can help with if it was set up correctly.
I had issues with some retailers years ago where it would prompt for chip and PIN but more recently I've never had Apple Pay not work for credit or debit card.0 -

Klarna pay in 3 or pay next month does not report back to credit agencies, so this method of payment will not help. If you have the Klarna card (which defers payment for 30 days) that does not currently report either. So, no using Klarna will not impact your credit report one way or the other.0
