Expedia ignoring me

In 2020 I booked fight and hotel through Expedia. Then Covid hit.
I took credits for the flights and refund for the hotel. Rational being I woul use the flights in 2021.
2021 Covid still a pain.
I had correspondence from Expedia that the credits were valid until Sept 21 and I could if I wished request a refund before then from them.
So I did only to be told vouchers had been issued by Virgin for the flights - they had expired - so take it up with them !!
I pointed out their email which they asked me to forward. I did.
Since then and despite increasingly frustrated emails from me - nothing  - no replies whatsoever.
Booking was by debit card (silly me)
Money owed £750ish
I won't use Expedia again and have booked elsewhere by credit card.
It's all for a wedding - 3 times postponed, figures crossed for June!
Any ideas what to do would be greatly appreciated.

S75 would not apply as OP used a debit card.
I fear OP outside the chargeback timeframe at this point.

OP - have you actually done what Expedia suggested and contact VAA to ask them about the voucher use?  I actually thought at the time that VAA converted tickets to an ‘Open’ status initially. This however would have a max 12-month validity. At that time I thought they were then refunding unused Open tickets or holding as a credit.  It could be that the ticket value is sitting with VAA still, or was returned to Expedia and lost somewhere in accounting and poor auditing.

Just looking back on when I had to claim a refund from VAA back in 2020. I did so via WhatsApp.
Not sure if their account is still active but the WhapsApp was +44 344 874 7747.  It was an automated service which initially will (or did) give options to make an inquiry.

Search this website for threads on Expedia. I suspect there is a thread which provides an address which would be your starting point for legal action.

Did you find an address ? It might be worthwhile repeating it for the benefit of others ?

Have you tried phoning Expedia? I found that worked better for me once I managed to get escalated higher up in the system.
