    Got mine yesterday, Chose pay to my bank, plus interest.
    Matured on the 14/09/22, woke up to find it in my bank at 5am.
    Well impressed.
    If there rates were better I would have stayed put.

    Castle Trust Bank 1 Year Fixed Rate e-Cash ISA 3.15%, equivalent to 3.93% (at 20% tax) if you've used your savings allowance.
    Also Castle Trust Bank Fixed Rate e-Saver 1 Year bond 3.47%, min £1k
  • Who knows if interest rates are going up next week, nothing surprises me 
    if they don’t I think I will grab a good 2 year fix monthly interest 
    we will see

    I have heard seen online chatter that a 0.75 percentage-point increase could be on the cards.

    For example, <The Guardian> reports as follows:
    "In the City, the debate focuses on whether Threadneedle Street will increase the base rate by 0.5% or follow the Fed and ECB with a whopping 0.75% rise."

  • My notice acc isn't available until mid Nov. Hoping there's a 4% 1yr fixed rate lurking about to dive into. Wouldn't mind a bit of that.
