How can one take a short term beneficial career period abroad to broaden one,s exprience if you have no UK bank account for your temporary house rental or essential savings needs?
Or you can do what I did when I lived abroad: I used my parents’ address and didn't tell any of my banks, building societies or stockbrokers. Keeping my UK mobile number was important in that as well.6 -

I watched him on TV yesterday at midday and it can't be his media presentation abilities that won his selection.....his performance was dismal.3

Just looking at recent events and I’m fixing up with tandem at 5.85% 5 years. Taking advantage of it now before it’s axed.0

If you wanted the interest paid into the account and didn't want to use Raisin, then choosing an account with a lower rate will generate more interest overall. For example - fixing for 5 years with Cynergy at 5.75% would give an average return of 6.45% PA over the 5 years. Quite a difference !

I am surprised Raisin is still showing Tandem at 5.85 since they emailed this on Friday. Looks like you can still apply but you might have only 5 working days to fund it.We're contacting you because Tandem Bank is changing the rate of one of their savings accounts (product code: TAN005) from 5.85% AER to 5.65% AER on 25.9.2023.
Personally I prefer interest paid away as it makes the tax return easier. You are only losing out if you don't reinvest that money somewhere else and assume rates are going to be worse.0 -
Alrayan Bank-l 12 Month Fixed Term Deposit £5,000 6.12% 3 -
I like atom and have a few fixed terms maturing soon but their rates are very poor across the range 1-5 years , a shame as I would have def used them again .
Also easy access dire .
I assume they have plenty of customers cash now if these rates are anything to go by.0 -

Please note: If you do not fund your FTD within 60 days of your application, you will need to make a new application to open an FTD and will receive the expected profit rate which applies at that time.
