Oaknorth Bank, Cynergy Bank, Hampshire Trust Bank, Aldermore ( all 14 days ) just to mention a few otherspecunianonolet said:Have got a bond maturing on 28th August with Atom, and thinking of fixing again but 2 weeks are a long time to go and rates might be even lower by then. Which provider has 14+ days funding window so I could open some to secure the rate to give me a bit of space to decide what to do?1 -
Anyone know of chip will increase their rates, just switched over to them 😩0

If it's a fixed account, the rate will be fixed when you open the account, so even if rates rise, it won't be applied to the account you just opened. Do Chip even do fixed accounts?0

I have locked in Cynergy at 6.04 for some funds maturing with Ford on Sunday. I will split the money between them both because I want some of it monthly (Ford)

Oh lucky i decided to open an RBS fixed saver a few days ago with rates starting to come down with many banks now. Although even with the new 5.51 from RBS it would have only a couple of £ difference.

yes, I’ve just opened a Charter and a Hodge at 6.01% both in my wife’s name as she doesn’t pay tax.. not greedy and happy to take 6% rather than wait and hope for another small increasejaypers said:With rates starting to creep down, thinking of locking in another Charter 1 years at 6.02%. 14 days to fund etc.0
