Yes he is wrong. Clearbank provides packaged technology solutions for several banks but they are not holding the accounts. They are however holding the accounts for non-banks such as Chip and Raisin.

I have 100k fixed with Atom, in a couple of months I will have access to it. I know rules are rules (they will still keep hold of my capita) would they let me transfer it over to the 1 year fix?

FWIW, all those Raisin rates are with Isbank (and they're offering a 7 year 5% bond too, if you're feeling like Nostradamus).

Im a little wary of Isbank. The bank details indicate that they can take up to 3 months to return money. Am I understanding this wrong

That sounds strange. What exactly does it say that you interpret it like that? A fixed term account should be pretty, well, fixed for when they return your money.

It says this bank holds funds under a trust model which can take up to 3 months to be returned.
