Ford is 21 days and a 14 days cooling off. Shawbrook look like they still allow additions for as long as the bond is still available - and then for another 7 days after its withdrawn.1

possibly worth mentioning that existing Oxbury users can still open a 1-Yr fix @ 4.25% with £1k minimum.i'm guessing new customers could open a notice account with a £1 test deposit (again 1k minimum), and then as an existing customer, be able to open a fixed-term account and then once opened and funded, to close the notice account - though i've no idea if funding a notice account with just £1 would give you access to opening the fixed account (assume you could at £1k in the notice account).1

Strange that this thread is now on page 4... Are people expecting the rates to go up that much more that they don't want to fix yet? I've started doing 2-year fixes at 4.40% and I've seen multiple banks actually already going down on their fixed rates.
Mind you, I'm got smaller amounts maturing at different months, so they cover a range of rates...Being brave is going after your dreams head on0 -
People who noticed the fixed rates levelling off - and even dropping - towards the end of last year - may well have already taken fixes.
Others may need variable rates to level off and start to drop before jumping into fixes, or even wait to be advised to take fixes by websites or experts in the media before acting, but it remains to be seen what rates will be on offer then.1 -
Disappointing to see Atom dropping their 2 , 3 + 5 year fixes to 4.15% overnight. Were all 4.45% yesterday…unpredictable future I guess.2

Only hope for long term is some smaller bank as an outlier that needs to boost it's coffers quickly.

A little underwhelming for a loyalty bond (4.2%), IMO, but:-

'To be able to open this account, you’ll need to have held or been linked to a savings or mortgage account with Coventry Building Society, ITL or Godiva continuously since 1 January 2022 or earlier.'
