Habib Bank Zurich plc apparently have nudged forward with a 4.33% (expected rate sharia)
open online but manage by post -
Anyway I've done my 1 and 2 year fixes weeks ago , so just watching rates by the side lines0 -
Can you fund Ford fixed saver directly or only from your nominated account? An initial funding of 1 quid into flex saver was returned as they had to send a code by post first, we're now abroad and letter probably got stuck with the strike so would only be able to fund otherwise when back and that is super tight with the deadline.0

• You pay in money from your Nominated Account or from an existing Ford Money account, subject to the Terms and Conditions of that product.
• Your initial deposit must be received within 21 days of the date we receive your application.
• Minimum initial deposit £500
• Minimum balance £500, maximum balance up to £2,000,000.
• You can make an unlimited number of deposits within 21 days of the date we receive your application. After this deposit window no additional deposits are permitted.
NB. that's 21 days including the day you opened the account, so it's actually 20 days from account opening.
When looking at your payment deadline, bear in mind that payments made into Ford Money accounts after working hours are not normally credited until the following business day, which means that payments made on a Friday evening (for example) don't arrive until Monday morning. That includes both payments from external and internal accounts so you'll need to get your timings right if you intend to pay into the Flexible Saver first and from their transfer into a Fixed Saver as making these payments at the wrong times could lead to that taking a good few days.
Saying that though, payments made during a working day are usually much quicker. I recently made an internal transfer from a Flexible Saver to a Fixed Saver at around 1pm during the week and it was immediate.1 -
Looking at opening an Account with Hampshire Trust Bank, but getting lots of warnings from HSBC whilst trying to Transfer money to them and there are many poor reviews on trustpilot, especially about poor customer service with some having problems at maturity. I appreciate it is covered by FCS etc but just wondered what others thought before I ignore the warnings.0

Ford Money have finally revised their Fixed Saver rates and made them available to all. These new rates match the best currently available elsewhere and therefore make them joint-top at the top of the corresponding fixed rate table.
The new rates are :
1 year @ 4.25% (AER)
2 years @ 4.50% (AER)
5 years @ 4.55% (AER)10 -
