Bitter people usually see things that way. However, us who are concerned with the wellbeing of our families and health, don't.
And to be honest, if whipping you up into a red mist is this easy, then you have bigger problems than I.
Now, please get yourself a thesaurus and write some dazzling letters to your local newspapers complaining about how 'they' come 'over here' and take 'all our jobs'DISCHARGED 12th December 2007:T

Ok, well in my case I will be debt free in 2012, as I am paying of a student loan of 10k. In fact my debt total is still nearly 50% of my salary despite being BR!! So I'm not putting it there to gloat and I'm sure users are not either...BCSC Member 70:j

There are places elswhere on MSE where the rights and wrongs should be descussed and most of the Trolls know that
Last nights activaty was just designed to have a go because "they" didnt like the support the OP was getting
it was the pictures of congratulations that got peoples backs up. that and yours and others contradictary posts.0 -

Are you still at it ?
I know I for 1 explained this several times yesterday on lou's post..
WE CONGRATULATED HER ON HAVING THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL STRENGTH TO DEAL WITH HER DEBTS IN THE WAY SHE SAW FIT.
We where not .....repeat not slapping her on the back and saying wooohoooo well done on going bankrupt, isn't it great not bothering paying people back.
IanI had debts, my circumstances changed, I tried but couldn't pay them, I dealt with them in the best way I could.........

I would actually go further than Jules and say even if you do do research on someone regarding their posts please remember that there may be things that they are not prepared to post.
Do not assume the worst but if you have to (I'm not one to talk here
) don't for goodness sake post it, even if you think you've found evidence to back this up in their posts. Lots of people are masters at putting on a brave face and hiding behind a mask of coping.
Your condemning, judgemental post may be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Oh no, this is starting to sound like a 'them and us' thing
We're all MSE'rs, just for different reasons. I won't pretend to know what it feels like to go bankrupt, because I don't. But I do know what it feels like to think 'if I was dead, all the debts will be gone and the house paid off so mr tru and the kids will finally be ok'. Seemed perfectly reasonable to me at the time
Sometimes when you're in the middle of something, you can't see clearly. So what seems judgemental might actually be helpful in the long run, you just can't see it at the moment. (I know this - been there
Looking back, I took everything the wrong way).
I'm not saying there aren't judgements made here, of course there are - I've seen it.Bulletproof0 -

Hi mrs tru, unfortunately it became a them and us thing as soon as lou's thread changed from being 1 full of support and wellwishers, to 1 split with people posting that she's scum of the earth and she's not taking responsibility etc etc A lot of the posters on her thread HAD valid points BUT they where posting in the wrong thread, They should have been posting in a discussion thread.
this thread will very quickly go the same way I fear.
all the best Ian :beer:I had debts, my circumstances changed, I tried but couldn't pay them, I dealt with them in the best way I could.........
