letter of claim from Bwlegal

Leave the letter requiring them to place on hold for 30 days as close as possible to the end date of their 30 day deadline, kicking the can further down the road and towards the end of the year. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

What a top tip. I'll be remembering this one.Umkomaas said:Leave the letter requiring them to place on hold for 30 days as close as possible to the end date of their 30 day deadline, kicking the can further down the road and towards the end of the year.
Would it not be worth adding this to the newbies thread. I don't think it's in there.0 -
Kicking the tin down the road only has real value if you are approaching the 6 year point, or you need sixty days to ensure you get an SAR response back and/or need extra time to sort out a defence.ab2000 said:

Many posters want to get this over with so aren't worried about delays.
Then there are people like me, and some of the regulars, who would do things like this just for the buggerence factor. I can delay it, and cost the PPC and their agents time and money, so I will.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I will do just that. I did the same the last time it came. And all of a sudden bwlegal wrote me back saying the matter has been referred back to their client. This is nearly or over 6months ago, only for them to write me again with another letter of claim before court action.Umkomaas said:Leave the letter requiring them to place on hold for 30 days as close as possible to the end date of their 30 day deadline, kicking the can further down the road and towards the end of the year.
Do you think these solicitors would listen or agree to put the matter in hold for 30days while I seek legal advice?0 -
Not for legal advice, no, but for debt advice they have no choice.Eminowa said:Umkomaas said:Leave the letter requiring them to place on hold for 30 days as close as possible to the end date of their 30 day deadline, kicking the can further down the road and towards the end of the year.
