Hi. Plus net put our costs up hugely. Looking to switch. Confused. All seem to say they can put the price up during the contract. Can they increase by any amount (large?) or are they limited and all basically can do the same? Thank you

Read your terms and conditions. If they say they can increase it during the term (usually by inflation plus a percentage of their choosing) then yes they can. If they say they cant, then you can leave the contract.0

Most of the broadband providers such as BT, Plusnet, TalkTalk, Vodafone, Shell Energy, EE etc state they will increase the price by a certain figure each year during contracts. Currently the increase would be around 9-10%.sharonbetty said:Hi. Plus net put our costs up hugely. Looking to switch. Confused. All seem to say they can put the price up during the contract. Some providers like Cuckoo and Giganet have fixed price contracts with no price increase during the contract.0 -
Did the Plusnet price go up because you came to the end of your deal? Annual price rises tend to happen around April time and is something most providers do.sharonbetty said:Hi. If you have come out of contract, have you checked with Plusnet what a renewal will take the price down to?1
