Parking Ticket in own resident parking space

Hello,
I got a car round June, I knew I needed a permit so I went gov for Info ended up my council website and got and e permit same day which stated I do not need to display any permit in my vehicle. About a month alter I got a perking ticket picket but I was sent to my parent who is the registered keeper and I’m the main driver it states that on my insurance and e permit. So it was pcm for not displaying permit, I appealed  and got a bot answer after 40 days saying not displaying permit etc .Fast forward to now we kept receiving pcm letters and they sent it to my address even, I appealed once but don’t haven’t got a email . Now the most recent letter was from DBR court action.  What do you guys think I should do just pay or
Also I had went onto cpm website and got a permit from them and stuck on my car for the sake of it which took two months to come.I dident know they had permit or that I needed one I just followed the council info.

This is difficult to follow - who are PCM, DBR and CPM? You say "own resident parking space" in the subject line but also talk about the council - where is it you're parking? On the street, or in a private car park, or what?

OP, if you are parking in a council controlled parking space with a council permit, then you need to take it up with the council. Worth checking whether the council permit you got is actually for your parking spot, and not just a residents parking permit for the road. It's unlikely that the council would give you a ticket if you have a correct e-permit for where you are parking - there computer system would identify that the car is permitted to park there (either with the enforcement officer or back at base).
  • Ok the things is I’m in a apartment with private parking and the e permit said it covers my address  , but I didn’t  get a ticket from the council I got it from CPM UK
  • Can I suggest the OP puts this query onto the parking section attached to the motoring one. Its possible the right people will not see the OP's query if its on here.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

I'm guessing you're in an area where the on-street parking has a residents' permit scheme - so you have a permit from the council entitling you to park in a residents' bay on the road? That has nothing to do with what happens in your private car park.

To sort this out you need to look at

Look on a computer or pad, not a phone as phones often miss out important information.
Plus look at your lease or rental agreement, what does it say about having to have a permit?
When you have done this ask a board guide to move this to the parking ticket forum.
Please do not keep asking questions that are answered in the newbies thread and do come back for help when you have done the above.

    Who owns the car park?
If it is not owned by the council then a residents permit is useless.

We used to live in a flat which added car park checks to stop unwanted parking and we were issued permits from the management company for the block.
We could also get a council permit to park on the street outside.
But the council permit obviously won't work in the private car park.
