Just a comment
My elderly friend who is not internet savvy bought a book of new second class stamps with the code. She was convinced they were large letter stamps given to her by mistake or 'to get rid of their old stock' as they are so big.
I had to show her my LL stamps with 'LARGE' written on themLove living in a village in the country side0 -
If you paid extra for a tracked delivery of the stamps you want to swap does Royal Mail reimburse the cost and if so how does it reimburse the cost. Also do you recieve stamp booklets back or sheets of stamps.Thanks.0

Yes it does reimburse you for tracked delivery, and it does so by giving you extra 2nd class stamps to the value of the postage. You have to put the value on the form before you send it off.littlemoney said:If you paid extra for a tracked delivery of the stamps you want to swap does Royal Mail reimburse the cost and if so how does it reimburse the cost. Also do you recieve stamp booklets back or sheets of stamps.Thanks.
I got sheets of stamps back, not booklets, even though several booklets were sent for exchange.1 -
Why would you pay (money) for tracked delivery when you can use some of the stamps that you were going to swap (and yes, you can use lots of stamps to make up the cost of Special Delivery)?littlemoney said:If you paid extra for a tracked delivery of the stamps you want to swap does Royal Mail reimburse the cost and if so how does it reimburse the cost.
Royal Mail will give you the value of the tracked delivery in stamps so you don't lose out overall. In fact, you're probably better off using existing stamps to pay for special delivery as then you don't effectively lose more money to RM.0 -
That is now explained in the Sept 22 version of the T&CFatherTireseus said:I got sheets of stamps back, not booklets, even though several booklets were sent for exchange.I need to think of something new here...0 -
Hiya,
I had posted my stamp swap form with attached around 20 first-class stamps, posted using their given envelope on 21st October.
However, I still did not receive their reply (new bar code stamp) until today as (8th November). It has been almost 2 weeks.
Thank you.
