  • Invite me to your home, all your problems solved!!!
  • Get a ciabatta or similar, slice in half and lightly toast. Cover each half of the toasted ciabatta in a thin layer of cranberry jelly (good if you have some leftover from Christmas). Whack a good chunk of the camembert on the top and stick under the grill to melt.

It would probably work with a good thick slice of normal crusty bread too.
  • Remove the top of the skin in a circle - drizzle olive oil over and some crushed garlic and chopped garlic. Stick in oven for half an hour.

Boil some pasta and add spinach for last 5 minutes cooking.

    pour cheese over pasta.

JO recipe - we had it last week and it's gorgeous !

    Roll out puff pastry
Stick camembert (or a brie) in the middle - spread a big dollop of onion chutney over the top of the cheese then wrap and seal well in the puff pastry. Glaze with eggwash.
Bung in hot oven (200-220oc) until the pastry is well puffed! Take out and leave to sit for 10-15 mins before cutting a huuuuuge chunk and enjoying
(if you don't leave it to sit, the runny cheese will gush out)

I'm going to do a Broccoli, Leek & Camembert Soup - do I need to remove the rind? Having looked at some recipes some say do, some don't. I happily eat the rind normally but not sure if it might go a bit odd?

    Thanks.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
