What can I do with this huge Camembert?

Hiya!
OH's Mum and Dad came back from France 2 weeks ago, and brought us back a huge Camembert which has been stinking the fridge out ever since. Both OH and I are trying to be healthy, so have ignored it... but it goes out of date this week. Any ideas what I can do with it? We usually just make Camembert and bacon sandwhiches with it!
IS it nice hot? Or could I half and freeze it?
All Ideas welcome xx

Champys, that sounds absolutely amazing!!! The cheese is in some sort of wicker like box, so may place it in an overproof dish and freeze some too (though it won't be as round and pretty then - maybe i'll cut a shape out of it and bake that!) Hope it's as gooey as the one on the M&S advert!!! xx0

Lucky you, I bought mine from M&S and it stank the fridge out so much I am storing it into the shed until xmas eve.0

Hi bobbadog,
I did a baked camembert for a starter last Xmas, I made a couple of slits across the top of the cheese, inserted a few slithers of garlic, poured over a bit of white wine and baked for 15 mins ish, I served it with different 'dipping' bread, it was delish
enjoy

Cut it into wedges, wrap in clingfilm & a poly-bag, then freeze.
Defrost a wedge, slice in half throught the middle to make 2 wedges, roast some veg (peppers, onion, aubergine, courgettes), and then put wedges on top of veg & return to the oven for 10m. Gorgeous!0 -
Bear in mind though, if you do freeze it and then defrost, it won't continue to ripen.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0

I have one large camembert cheese currently stinking out my fridge. DH bought it at the French market last week. Any ideas (there is only the two of us) and I have offered some to friends but they have refused.0

Melt and dip up with crusty bread and veg sticks?0

Cit in chunks, dip in breadcrumbs and deep fry. It is unhealthy enough to cause a heart attack on the spot, but it is niiiiiice.
Or how about cheesy vegetable hotpot, which will use up any veg as well:

or potato fondue for supper:
