dp1, I think they take all sorts, cds and dvds as well, so long as they've got a bar code, you just scan the bar code in and they tell you if they'll take it and how much they'll pay. Then you just box them up, write the number they give you on the box and they send dpd to collect, easy peasy and saves trailing to the charity shop with a heavy bag of books.

I went to very upmarket spa this morning for a luxury facial.  It was my Christmas present from my two sons.  One son is head chef in one of the hotels so he was able to get a staff discount.
it was still very expensive but such a lovely treat.  I have been told to relax, will not need to much encouragement!

Hello all

Well, another blowy night but all calm today, cold and bright. However, another wind warning in place for tomorrow during the day. Typical, weather's been pretty benign all month and now 3 weather warnings in 4 days.....

Back at work today, busy as always, but a day off tomorrow which I'm looking forward to - off to lunch with an old friend.

Freezer dive for tea tonight and shopping tomorrow morning

Windy here today - I popped to As.. this morning for some flowers for a Birthday gift. Much colder here now when I answered the front door to a neighbour.
Made a Birthday card this morning.
This afternoon I made a bag for a 92 year old Church member so she can carry her phone around the house with her. After making hers - I fancied one for myself.
