MAC Studio Fix Fluid - I got this ages ago as a freebie for trying out their online colour matching service, the colour was a bit yellow for me but wearable, I doubt you'd ever get the match just right using phones etc.  This was my first MAC foundation and I did really like it, very liquid-y but very blendable and not too visible on the skin.

UU Benefit Dandelion blush. Does anyone else remember when these were marketed as face powders?  I have been using it as face powder on the perimeter of my face as well as blush.  WIBA?  Probably not.  I did have a back up of this.  The Christmas before last MRM bought me a kit taht contained Dandelion and Bad Gal Bang mascara as he got the kit for the cost of the mascara alone.  I sold Dandelion on.

Of all the Benefit blushers that I own the one that I have repurchased and will repurchase again is Dallas.

Yes I remember that, very pink to have all over your face though.  I used to love the Benetint blush, I had my first bottle for a long time then when I replaced it they had sort of watered it down and it was nowhere near as good.
I remember thinking that the Dallas powder was weird to wear all over the face.  It was Benetint (loosely) that got me into makeup originally.  I worked with someone who had bought it for her wedding day and I remember her telling me that it was great value because she only used a little each time. I remember I bought The Realness of Concealness so I could try a few products and out of them I fell in love with Boing Concealer and Lemon Aid. I used those products until they reformulated the first and discontinued the latter products.

A YouTuber that I follow is panning that kit although she only has those two cream products left and she’s using them combined as foundation. I do feel a little pang of nostalgia whenever I see that prompt.

i have tried the various tints from Benefit and they never suited me. I think my skin is too olive toned. I like Dallas, Big Bang mascara and Goofproof and continually buy these.

Finally, I did see a Benefit vending machine at Atlanta airport.

Benefit was my gateway in too. Loved lemon aid, might even have one still kicking about. Loved Benetint until they watered it down. The coloured mascaras were a big favourite of mine too.

One UU: Aveda nutriplenish conditioner. WBA. Onto next one already.

  • On the Benefit- I like the lip tints, the cha cha peachy one.  I find them great for covid-times actually when you can't wear lippy cos of mask wearing but want some colour on your lips- they're great for that!  Not sure I've ever used any of their other products.  Oh, the porefection primer- it was alright.

    • Gifted sample- little spray bottle (tube? Its a bottle, but really not a bottle, its 1.5ml!) of Ralph Lauren Polo Red: WNB - again, think it was a mans fragrance, but whatevs- used it round the house
