£1500 Laptop - Now faulty 13 months after purchase

I hope they do not have a good notes system or you could find they reject your claim on the basis it was a already reported fault & as such not covered.
Would have been far quicker to take to a recommended local computer shop to get fixed. Given the cost of a fan is sub £20. Good chance they will turn it round in a day. Rather than the at best a week & it will take from HP

This is what a few posters seem to be missing. Yes, you have the right to get them to fix but there are times when doing so is completely pointless. I too would much rather pay my local shop to do it and probably get it back same day. That said, I'm fortunate enough that I'd do it myself.
